How is this different from Donkeytail?

Donkeytail pins points onto an image, positioned as a percentage of it — perfect for "these products are in this photo". Hitz draws shapes in real units and makes each one an element: a stand has a size in m², a number, a hall, an availability and its own fields, and an exhibitor can be related to it. Replacing the floor-plan drawing never moves anything.

Does it use Google Maps or OpenStreetMap?

No. A hall plan is not geography, so there are no tiles and no API keys. Leaflet draws your plan on a flat Cartesian plane, and it ships inside the plugin — no third-party requests at all.

Can a venue have several floors?

Make one plan per floor, and link between them. A multi-level plan with a level switcher is on the list for a later version.

Can visitors book a stand?

Hitz records availability; it does not take payment. Relate stands to Commerce products, or to a form, and set availability from your booking flow — it is one element save.

How many stands can a plan hold?

Hundreds comfortably. Areas render as SVG and the whole plan is inlined in the page, so a very large plan (thousands of stands) is better served from the JSON endpoint with a lighter renderer.

Can I trace my venue's CAD drawing?

Export the drawing as SVG or PNG and set it as the plan's underlay, then draw on top — or trace it in QGIS and import the GeoJSON (Pro).

Is it accessible?

The plan is a visual map; the search box is the keyboard route to every stand, and a stand's page can carry the same information as text. Tell us where it falls short.
